Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00070]

When Ben was twenty-five years old, he had a quarter-life crisis. He quit his job, sold his car, and found a family to adopt his pet goldfish. He set off to travel the world full time with a five-year travel plan including, Central and South America, Africa, China and Asia, Russia, India, Canada, the U.S. and Australia… basically, everywhere! While he travelled, Ben made it a point to write down one travel tip everyday and strive for constant improvement – aiming to ultimately become the best traveller he could be.

Why I Wrote This Book:

Having traveled to over 75 countries before my thirtieth birthday, I have a lot I want to share. I am passionate about travel and want to inspire dreamers to pursue their own travel dreams.

Over the years, I’ve read countless travel guides and books, some better some worse.  And I realized there was something missing from them: they tended to be country specific pointing out specific details relating to each place.

From traveling so extensively I began to think differently. I did not need a book to tell me how much something should cost, where to find a place to stay or what attractions to see. I sort of just knew.

As I traveled, I wrote down everything I wish I would have known before I started traveling – all the information I was not reading in the usual travel guides and books.

I originally called this book ‘How to Think Like a Professional Traveler.’ I want to show travelers how to shift their mindset in a way that they can always save time, money, and effort while traveling and have a more rewarding travel experience.

What is Your Travel Dream?

Do you dream of traveling the world?
Do you have a list of exciting places to visit?
Why aren’t you?
You probably have a reason: No money? No time? No travel partner? Scared?
I did to. But when I was twenty-five years old, I quit my job, gave my old clothes to charity, and found a family to adopt my pet goldfish. I set off to travel the world full time with a five-year travel plan. Was it easy? Not at first, but gradually, I learned to recognize what was holding me back and how to overcome excuses and fear. I have since travelled to 7 continents, 75+ countries, flown 350+ flights, and have spent 1500+ nights in hotels/hostels. I’ve dived the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa, and seen the Queen outside Buckingham palace. I can honestly say “Been there – done that!”
If you seriously want to realize your travel dreams, I want to show you how. Whether you take one short trip a year, or are planning a yearlong epic vacation, you can learn how to think like a professional traveler and develop a traveler’s mindset.Photo-Collage
